Join Jill Livingstone of Horta Culture to create your own Spring Bulb Container Garden! The workshop involves planting a variety of reliable spring bulbs - several varieties of Narcissus and three colors of Crocus - in a compostable 10 inch pot. Jill will give instructions for the subsequent cold conditioning of the bulbs, with the goal of having each pot bloom in April. Jill will also provide detailed handouts for everything taught at the workshop as well as detailed instructions for planting a layered bulb container. 

Cost is $30 which includes all the materials needed: 

10 inch compostable pot (this could be placed inside a decorative pot) Handcrafted planting medium 

Variety of bulbs 

Decorative grit and/or moss to cover the top of the pot 

Printed instructions 

Jill also offers two upgrades of pot choices for planting the bulbs - see photos below. Jill needs to know the choice of each participant by Tuesday, January 6, 2026.
